Hi I am Carol Mathebula the founder of Vunkuwa International Academy. At the age of Ten, I realized my inner healing powers they taught me the language and the importancy of the body, every pain in the body represents a story. My Great Grandmother taught me about inner essence and to respect the inner whisperation. She also told me about the imporantce of Mother nature itself and it's origins now lies in Vunkuwa.
Vunkuwa means energy flow, just as the river flows. So when you are silent and you listen to your inner voice the flow of your fluids running through your veines is like the flow of the river and nature balance itself again. When Vunkuwa massage is applied, silence is restored, the inner voice rewakened and the flow is activated.
The Academy: Vunkuwa is born out of 10,000 years old techniques of healing and natural medicine, instigated in Africa by it's original habitants. A great diversity of healing methods were used. Many of these practices were passed on from generation to generation, a deep-rooted tradition of natural therapy was nourished. Also an abundant knowledge of plants and herbs was available.
